The Government of India decided to roll out the Voluntary National Pension System (NPS) for all citizens from 01 May 2009. PFRDA is identified as Nodal Authority to manage NPS operations. PFRDA appointed Department of Posts as one of the Point Of Presence (POP). Department of Posts is providing services through POP Service Providers (POP SPs). All Head Post Offices in India are identified as POP SPs.

With the inputs given by you, you will get the corpus that will be accumulated by you at the time of your retirement.

National Pension System (NPS) is a government sponsored pension scheme. It is a contribution based scheme where the amount of pension to be received by you in the future depends on the amount of corpus accumulated at the time of scheme’s maturity.

The NPS calculator will show you the amount of corpus that will be accumulated by you at the time of maturity and approximate amount of monthly pension to be received by you.

The amount of corpus accumulated by the time you retire will depend on your investment amount and returns generated.

Who can use NPS calculator?

NPS calculator can be used by anyone who is eligible to invest in the scheme. As per the NPS rules, any Indian citizen between the ages of 18 years and 60 years can invest in the scheme. The person will require complying with know-your-customer (KYC) norms to start the investing in the scheme.

How to use this calculator

To know how much corpus will be accumulated by you, the calculator will require the following details:

a) Your current age and the age you wish to retire

b) Amount that will be invested by you every month

c) Returns that you expect to earn from your NPS investment

d) Annuity period, i.e., number of years over which you wish to receive the monthly pension in the post retirement years. You are required to mention this number in years.

e) The percentage of pension wealth invested in the annuity plan means the percent of accumulated corpus you will use to buy a pension plan. This cannot be below 40 percent if you withdraw at 60 years or more. If you withdraw before 60 years, it cannot be below 80 percent.

f) Expected rate of interest on the annuity investment is the returns that you expect to earn from your annuity (pension) during the post-retirement period.

TRAI TV Channel Out of 873 channels, more than 500 TV channels are provided by broadcasters on a free-to-air basis. The new framework provides the channels that are provided on a free-to-air (FTA) basis by broadcasters cannot be priced by the distributors. In the previous regime, various distributors (Multi-System Operators/ DTH Service Providers/ HITS or IPTV service providers) were pricing FTA channels.

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) declares new rules for cable and DTH operators, it will be affordable to watch TV now. Until now, the cable and DTH operators were unnecessarily robbing unnecessary channels in your channel package, as if you were planning 300 rupees per month, there would be 50-60% of the channels that you do not even see and do not even understand ( Channel with other regional languages). Thus, you have collected overwhelming 50-60% channel prices, which you do not even see.::

TRAI had taken such a revolutionary decision in the telecom sector before taking this historic decision in cable and DTH, which gave the exchange of 1 GB internet data Rs. 150 four years ago. Reliance Jio offers customers new year offers, 399 recharge will get 100% cashback.

New Delhi: Reliance Geo announced a special offer for its customers on the new year. Geo is offering 100% cashback on recharge of Rs 399. This will be available as a cashback coupon. Which will have to be overcome on e-commerce portal Ajio.

The company said that Jio has announced Geo Happy New Year offer in partnership with Ajio. Under this, 100% cashback will be given to the users under the Agio Coupon. And can reap the benefits of recharging Rs 399.

With this coupon, cashback will be given to order at least 1000 rupees from Agio Portal. This announcement is for Reliance Jio and current and new customers.

People always wonder how and when they shoud write an assigned paper for one of their classes. Personally I think the best papers are the ones that are written the night before they are due.

In high school, students are required to write several papers throughout the year, and eventually you will learn how both you and your teacher operate when it comes to papers. By this I mean, if you know your teacher will give you an "A" for a 3 page paper full of quotes, or a teacher who will write you rough draft for you, then you have learned how they "operate". After you know how your teacher operates, then it's time to figure out how you operate. Some people write their best papers on the night they are assigned, so that way they have plenty of time to revise them. Then there are those who write half of their paper a week in advance and write the other half a few days prior to the due date. But personally I believe my best papers are the ones I write the night before they are due. And in some cases the moring they are due.

The next time you are in your english class and your teacher tells you have a have a paper due on the novel you've just read, don't sweat it. Most teachers won't give you any other homework for the next week or so, in order to give you plenty of time to work on your paper, but my advice is 'don't use that time to work on your paper'. Relax, and work on the homework you have that's due the following day. Remember, you have a week to do the paper for a reason.

For the rest of the week, while your teacher is having a class discusion on the novel, it's okay to sleep and doze off a little bit. Every day you'll wake up when the bell rings and realize that you only wrote about 3 lines worth of notes and you won't think twice about.

Utility Desk: The Indian Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has come up with a new policy called 'Jeevan Shanti'. Where you can make an investment only once and get a pension for life. This is a non-market linked plan. That is, you get a guarantee and a fixed return. The guarantee of giving this return automatically gives LIC. The special feature of this policy is that you can also combine it with your parents or siblings. This will allow you to get a pension even on a specific investment after your parents or siblings.

What is the plan?

This is a single premium plan from LIC, where you start receiving a pension after you deposit it all together. Here you have two options. If you want you can start your pension immediately or even start it. In this plan of LIC, you have to pay full money altogether. The minimum amount is 5 lakh and the maximum amount is Rs 1 crore. You can also invest 10 lakhs, 25 lakhs and 50 lakhs at a time. You need to look at your age of 30 years to get a pension. So if you invest money in this plan, then the pension will start getting from the age of 30 years.

Example 1: -

You are 30 years old and you invested 5 lakhs, you can start taking a pension after one year.
